Home

Hello and welcome to earthenwords, the homepage of Anna. This website was created as a showcase for my simple crafts of poetry and jewellery-making. Go ahead and browse at your leisure, and I hope some of this makes sense to you. Here there be my poetry (as well as my mother's), photos of my beaded creations, and a humble, personal weblog - Across a roaring hill.

Use the links in the left-hand menu to navigate the different areas of the site. (But you didn't need me to tell you that, did you?)

There probably isn't anything amiss in this website... nothing of a technical nature at least... but if you find any problems, please pardon. I can't seem to stop tweaking, and this causes occasional, minor glitches.

What's new?

[25.02.08] God, it's been forever! I think I forgot to update the updates (e.g. last month I put up a new layout and didn't mention it), but still... Moving on: the first jewellery photos have finally made an appearance.
[23.07.06] It's been too long. I was thinking of reviving this all-but-forgotten place just for fun when, lo and behold, the muses visited me. Please enjoy my first few poems in many, many, many months.
[21.01.05] I was redoing my pictures pages, but I stumbled across a major problem: webspace, or lack of such, so I've been hacking off unnecessary limbs to make room for the parts of my site I like most, and think most 'me'.
[28.10.04] the first anniversary of earthenwords on its own domain - it's been a while... and again, sadly, the only changes made to my site are design/layout ones rather than content... as I have not written anything new for quite some months *sigh* (nonetheless I hope you enjoy the new layout :P)
[30.03.04] been making spiffy new graphics for a new layout; decided to ditch the wallpapers 'cause of webspace concerns
[21.03.04] got the recipes page made and uploaded; added a wee set of aquatic haiku
[15.02.04] polishing off the photo galleries
[03.02.04] new and old poems added, and pages tidied up using new layout, yay!
[10.01.04] a little cricket poem, and now that the sectional colour schemes are in place, I'm just changing a few technical things to make the site more user-friendly
